In the partnership between the two higher education institutions, an important event has taken place on 28th of March, 2019 in Eisenstadt. The bilingual symposium of the University of Physical Education (UPE) and the Pädagogische Hochschule Burgenland (PHB) has been organized around the topic of everyday physical education.

The leadership delegation of the Beijing Sports University was hosted by the University of Physical Education (UPE) management and the International Relations Center. The five-member Chinese delegation came to renew the cooperation of more than 15 years between our institutions, to find and negotiate about new opportunities.

A new partnership between The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and the University of Physical Education (UPE) in Budapest, Hungary, will create global opportunities for their students and faculty members who wish to expand their knowledge and research of coaching, sports science and physical education through real-life experiences.

UPE Delagation’s Visit in Southwestern United StatesThe representatives of the University of Physical Education, Budapest, namely Prof h.c. Lajos MOCSAI, Rector, Dr. habil Zsombor LACZA, Scientific Vice rector and Dr. habil Judit KADAR, Director of International Relations visited several sports related institutions in Southwestern United States.

A 10-member Taiwan delegation was hosted by the leadership of the University of Physical Education (UPE) and the International Relations Center. We have been in contact with the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) through the National Taiwan Sports University (NTSU) and now a meeting was held on the new UPE campus.

Dr. Judit Kadar, Head of the International Relations Directorate of UPE has visited Coastal Carolina University last week. Beyond the introduction of both universities and the sports related units, a collaboration agreement has been elaborated with the help of Dr. Darla Domke-Damonte, Associate provost (Centre for Global Engagement).

Prof. Dr. Gerhard Frasz, Head of the Vocational School and School Development Institute, Mag. Gerhard Ziniel, Academic Instructor and Alexandra Baier, Coordinator of the International Department has visited the University of Physical Education (UPE) in Budapest.

On 28th of February, 2018, the Kazah Embassy and the Hungarian Rectors Conference had organized a conference with the participation of 24 Rectors of Kazakhstan and 25 from the Hungarian universities. The first Kazah-Hungarian Rectors' Forum was held at Corvinus University in Budapest.

The University of Physical Education (UPE) has been honored to host a delegation from one of the most distinguished higher education institutions in Japan: Waseda University, Tokyo. The parties conducted some consultations with focus on a professional cooperation they intend to establish in the near future. The representatives of the two universities have shared their presentations about the institutions, calling attention to their strength and aspirations.

The International Relations Center of the University of Physical Education and Dr. Tamás Dóczi, a member of the Taiwani joint English language educational program (MSc), have received a two-member delegation (Professors Sam Sy-Sang Liaw, PhD, Ministry of Science and Technology Prague, Director and Nan-Jun Liu, First Secretary at Taipei Representative Office Hungary,) on November 8, 2017 in Budapest.

Dr. Tamás Sterbenz, Vice rector for general affairs and Dr. Judit Kádár, Director of the International Relations Center, visited the University of New Mexico in October.

Prof. Dr. Ákos Koller, President of the Scientific Council, and Dr. Judit Kádár, Head of the International Relations Directorate, attended the reception organized by the Budapest Taiwan Embassy on October 09, 2017.

On behalf of the University of Physical Education, Dr. Judit Kádár and Andrea Rédli from the International Relations Center, and Dr. Gábor Géczi, Head of Sport Management Department, spent one week within the framework of Staff Mobility Program in Canada.
