International Coaching Course material by Hungarian expert launched with 2025 SUP World Championships

The Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) proudly announces the release of new international-level course material authored by András Szabó, staff member of HUSS, at the special request of the International Canoe Federation (ICF) SUP Committee.

The curriculum is launched as a pilot programme in connection with the 2025 SUP World Championships in Dubai (UAE), hosted by PaddlersHub UAE and local authorities.

This innovative coaching material aims to support the global development of Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) as a sport and is available as part of international coaching certification programmes. It demonstrates HUSS’s growing international influence and contribution to the global sports science community.

In addition to this sport-specific module, András Szabó has also authored the textbook "Sports Coaching as a Profession", which serves both BSc and MSc international coaching students at HUSS. This core material is lectured by Dr Csaba Ökrös, Vice Rector General at HUSS and Head of the MSc International Coaching Programme, alongside Dr Zsuzsanna Kalmár, Head of Department and BSc course leader.
