Tamás Sterbenz received his mandate

Dr. habil. Tamás Sterbenz ceremoniously received his mandate as rector of the University of Physical Education from President of Hungary János Áder in the Sándor Palace. According to the decision of the President, the appointment of the new rector lasts for 5 years, taking effect from 1st October, 2021.

FISU signs MoU with MEFS and talks Healthy Campus at Sport and Innovation Conference

Organised by the University of Physical Education of Budapest and the National Handball Academy of Balatonboglar, FISU recently attended the Sport and Innovation International Conference that aims to foster dialogue on recent findings, innovative ideas, and methods further turning these ideas into success. This year, the conference was host to around 300 participants from more 30 European universities.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the 4th Sport and Innovation International Conference was successfully completed. The event was organized by the University of Physical Education of Budapest and the National Handball Academy of Balatonboglár.

Teaching Excellence Program in collaboration with the UNM

The third 3-week Teaching Excellence Program has been successfully completed in collaboration with the University of New Mexico in online form in July. The main goal of the program is to develop the professional and intercultural skills of  UPE faculties who will play a key role in the internationalization of UPE in connection with future full-time and part-time courses in English.
