The Technology and Knowledge Transfer Center operates as a functional and service-oriented unit under the direct supervision of the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Affairs. Its main responsibility is to facilitate the practical application of scientific results produced at the University.
The Center plays a key role in ensuring that the University's scientific and innovative achievements are effectively utilized in the market, contributing to societal and economic development.
The Center:
- manages the University's research and development (R&D) activities, including the planning, supervision, and execution of research projects, ensuring they progress according to the set objectives.
- encourages the University's involvement in both national and international research programs by supporting researchers and university departments in joining R&D projects.
- prepares R&D collaboration agreements to ensure effective cooperation between the University and its partners.
- prepares for the utilization of the University’s accumulated expertise and scientific results, overseeing the processes related to the commercialization of intellectual property, scientific findings, and innovative products and services.
- aims to help the University become an innovation hub, particularly in sports science, by supporting the implementation of innovation projects and the practical application of sports science research.
- develops and manages the University's knowledge management database and R&D registry, which tracks the University's research and innovation capacities to facilitate knowledge and technology transfer.
- in collaboration with relevant units, develops an incentive system for r-researchers to foster innovation and provide necessary support for their work.
