Guided City Tour

During this tour we are going to visit some of the most famous buildings of Budapest. A walk around the Parliament, the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary, which was completed in 1902. It was built in the Gothic Revival style with a central dome and symmetrical facades. This is the largest building of the country and it is a popular tourist location due to its unique beauty and grandiose size.

Parliament

Our tour will continue to the St. Stephen’s Basilica. This roman catholic basilica is named after the first Hungarian king, and it is one of the most significant tourist attractions of Budapest surrounded by the district of restaurants and shops. The tour also takes us the Heroes’ Square including the Andrássy Avenue on the way to the square, with spectacular mansions and romantic boutiques surrounded by big old oak trees. It is a popular shopping area, but it is worth visiting for its fine architecture and interiors as well. Heroes’ Square is located at the end of the Avenue, with the enormous Millennium Monument with statues of seven national leaders of Hungary. The Museum of Fine Arts is on the side of the square facing Műcsarnok / Kunsthalle. The Városliget park is right next to Heroes’ Square with the famous Széchenyi thermal bath.
