With the support of the Olympic Solidarity (OS), another 14 foreign students joined our increasingly popular International Coaching Course (ICC).

The Embassy of Hungary in Paris witnessed a convergence of minds and ideas as the Sports Diplomacy Conference kicked off last year. Among the esteemed delegates were representatives from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), who made a significant impact with their presentations and discussions.

In a bid to foster international cooperation and expand its global network, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) recently embarked on a significant diplomatic mission to China.  

Piroska Csuri, a lecturer at the National University of February 3 in Buenos Aires (UNTREF), recently visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

Under the direction of Dr Judit Kádár, a new, international course was launched in January at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

The graduation ceremony held on 29 November 2023 marked the end of the autumn course of the International Coaching Course (ICC) that brought together foreign students from 16 countries at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

Dr Klaudia Zuskova, Associate Professor at the Pavol Jozef Safarik University based in Kosice visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) as part of the Erasmus+ KA131 programme.

Members of the International Relations Center from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) attended the second Forum on Sports Diplomacy on 19 September 2023, organized by Dr Anna Mladenovics, Head of Liszt Institute of Zagreb. 

His Excellency Edgard Arturo Perez Alvan, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of Peru to Hungary, and David Celis, Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission of the South American Mission to Peru, visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science.

A delegation from the Japanese Embassy, ​​including His Excellency Masato Otaka Ambassador, Yuki Iwasaki, second diplomat, Head of the Cultural and Press Department and Sachiko Győri, cultural assistant have visited our university recently.

Dr habil Judit Kádár, Director of the International Relations and Gabriella Sztojalovszky partnership coordinator visited the University of Valencia (UV) in Spain.

On 16 and 17 May, our Ukrainian institutional partner, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University (BGKU) organized a conference titled "Sports Science and Education: International Experience" where HUSS representatives were also present.

Representatives of the Hungarian University of Sports Science participated in the First Székely Sports Conference (sicSPORT) in Miercurea Ciuc/ Csíkszereda, Transylvania (Romania) held on 18 and 19 May, 2023.

Tuesday saw the beginning of the International Days (IDIH 2023) that is currently being held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

Participants of the international Coaching Course (ICC) 2023 Spring Semester launched at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) were given a very warm welcome and a three-course Hungarian dinner by the university representatives on Wednesday.

On Friday, 24 February, the Rome Hall of the Hungarian University of Sport Sciences (HUSS) hosted the Fulbright Day. Professors of several Hungarian universities and professor John Barnes from the US, who was granted a Fulbright Scholarship to teach at HUSS, gave a lecture.

A delegation consisting of four Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS) members visited France capital, Paris on 7-9 December, where they held talks with the ILEPS University of Sports Sciences and other local organisations on a range of cooperation activities.

Having relaunched after the epidemic, the International Coaching Course (ICC) at the Hungarian University of Sport Sciences (HUSS) has been successfully completed.

On the 10th of October, the first Intercultural Hungarian dinner was held at the restaurant of the Hungarian University of Sports Science thanks to the International Relations Center. The purpose of the event was to promote the integration of incoming students arriving in the year 2022/23 as well as to familiarize them with the Hungarian culture and traditions. 

A six-member delegation led by the rector of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), dr. Tamás Sterbenz, met with the leaders and representatives of 11 international sports federations in Lausanne that is known as the home of federations on 26 April.
