# Erasmus

During the autumn semester, Hungarian University of Sports Science welcomed several visitors from its European partners.

Last week Professor Miklós Bánhidi, member of the Department of Recreation, visited the Sports University of Tirana, Albania (SUT) in the framework of our International Credit Mobility project.

Anna Szilágyi, a student majoring in sports management at the Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS) spent a week in Senegal, where this time she did not take sports photos but tourist ones. Her trip was supported by the ENGSO Youth programme of the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO).

Last Thursday, our University hosted a delegation from ILEPS, our new French partner. The partnership between the two institutions is based on an Erasmus partnership, the ILEPS international office contacted us at the end of 2021 to explore if we can expand the partnership beyond Erasmus, too. Quite soon, we could welcome the first in person visit of the ILEPS delegation in Budapest.

The first online international seminar of the Sport for Sustainable Development project was delivered with success! On the 21th of November, ENGSO Youth hosted the first online international seminar of the Sport for Sustainable Development project co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union. The seminar featured the introduction of the project, the Sport for Sustainable Development website and the ScoreAll17 manual.

As part of the 2020 ERASMUS + International Credit Mobility Application (ICM) announced by the Tempus Public Foundation, we have submitted a large number of applications with our partners in many countries around the world with the aim of finding support for two-way mobilities outside the European Union. The awarded amount of support is € 49,835 (17.7 million HUF) and two full years will be available from 1 August 2020 for the mobilities to be realized in both directions.

The 2020/2021 spring semester was a big challenge for all students. The events gradually affected the international students on the UPE Campus, who faced many difficulties during this period.

Similarly to the previous years, the University of Physical Education has taken part in the International ERACON Congress and Exhibition, in Paphos, Cyprus represented itself with an English languages presentation.

Prof. Dr. Hamar Pál Vice-Rector of Educational Affairs and Head of the Professional Committee, Dr. Judit Kádár Head of the International Relations Center, Andrea Rédli and Bianka Molnár international coordinators from University of Physical Education (UPE) were invited by Dr. Sabine Weisz Rector of College of Education Burgenland to take part in the Erasmus Information Day on 11th of October in 2018 in Austria.

Prof. Kerstin Lampel and Dr. Barbara Wondrasch, professors at the Department of Health from the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, attended a professional meeting organized by the International Relation Centre, with the representatives of the Department of Biomechanics of the Physical Education University.
