# Olympic Solidarity Programme

Never before have so many people applied for the International Coaching Course of the Hungarian University of Sports Science as this semester. The course is also funded by the International Olympic Committee.

The European Olympic Committee (EOC) awarded the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) with the EOC Olympic Laurel Award. TF is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The university, founded in 1925 under the name of College of Physical Education (TF), received the prestigious recognition at the EOC General Assembly held in Frankfurt on Saturday, 1st March. The university's Rector Professor Tamás Sterbenz, accepted the award from the organization's Greek president, Spyros Capralos.

Nineteen foreign students joined the university’s increasingly popular International Coaching Course (ICC), supported by the Olympic Solidarity (OS).

The Erasmus+ funded European project Meter Matters has been running for almost two years. The final event of the programme, which included a round-table discussion with Hungarian Olympic champions, was held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), one of the partner institutions of the programme.

The three-member delegation of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) held discussions with several partners in Switzerland at the end of March.

The graduation ceremony held on 29 November 2023 marked the end of the autumn course of the International Coaching Course (ICC) that brought together foreign students from 16 countries at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

In early October, the International Coaching Course at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) once again commenced.

Several media of Olympic Solidarity (IOC) scholarship holder countries reported on the International Coaching Course (ICC) at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). One of them is the Bahrain Tennis Federation.

Gábor Farkas, assistant professor of the Department of Combat Sports at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) participated and successfully completed his studies in the Olympic Solidarity Programme announced within the framework of the International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Programme (ICECP).

Participants of the international Coaching Course (ICC) 2023 Spring Semester launched at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) were given a very warm welcome and a three-course Hungarian dinner by the university representatives on Wednesday.

Having relaunched after the epidemic, the International Coaching Course (ICC) at the Hungarian University of Sport Sciences (HUSS) has been successfully completed.
