NETRISK Sport and Innovation Conference programme is taking shape

The International Canoe Federation (ICF) is excited to renew its long-standing partnership with the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

The International Canoe Federation (ICF) is excited to renew its long-standing partnership with the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS).

To advance global expertise in Sprint Canoeing coaching, the Hungarian University of Sports Science recently conducted the Sprint Canoe Level 3 Online Expert Coaching Course in collaboration with the International Canoe Federation (ICF).

The Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) is to organise an online level three sprint canoeing coaching course in autumn, 2023. Those interested can apply until 1st September.

Never before have so many people completed the International Canoe Federation’s (ICF) online course than this autumn. At the end of the training course, 17 people received their international coaching diplomas.

A six-member delegation led by the rector of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), dr. Tamás Sterbenz, met with the leaders and representatives of 11 international sports federations in Lausanne that is known as the home of federations on 26 April.

Following the successful organization of the first online coaching course last year (2020) in collaboration with the ICF (International Canoe-Kayak Federation) and UPE (University of Physical Education, UPE proposed to re-run the program, which was accepted by ICF.

The University of Physical Education (UPE) has cooperated with the International Canoe Federation (ICF) in the field of coach training programs since 2012. The highest-level certificate of coaching qualification in the education system of ICF is provided by this program, which was organized by UPE.
