Representatives of the Hungarian University of Sports Science took part in the second meeting of the European project titled METER MATTERS between January 31 and February 2 at the University of Coimbra in Portugal. The sub-title of the project is “Proposal of criteria and model for co-funding inclusion in sport”, which is also one of the main expected outcomes of the collaboration of 6 organisations.
On Wednesday 22 February, members of the US Marines visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science to give students, teachers and staff a good workout in the university assembly hall. The event was organised by the university’s Sports Exam’s Office.

Fulbright Guest Professor from Our Distinguished Institutional Partner, the University of New-Mexico
On January 26, 2023, Professor John Barnes, Professor at the Department of Sport Administration of the University of New Mexico, arrived at our university. Professor Barnes came to Budapest as part of the Fulbright scholarship program and spends the entire spring semester at the Hungarian University of Sports Science, working for the Sport Management Department.
