EASS2023 conference abstract submission deadline extended until 5 February

Abstracts can still be submitted for the European Association of Sport Sociology (EASS) conference (EASS2023) to be held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) from 30 May to 2 June 2023.

As reported earlier, at the beginning of the summer, the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) will host the European Association of Sport Sociology conference known as EASS2023, for which 80 people have already registered. The theme of the event is "Transforming sport - transforming European societies".

It is important to note that the conference organisers have extended the deadline for abstract submission until 5 February 2023.

Founding members of EASS include Gyöngyi Szabó Földesiné, Professor Emerita at the Department of Social Sciences of HUSS, while Dr Szilvia Perényi, associate professor at the Department of Sport Management represents HUSS in the board of the organisation.

Patrons of the event include Professor Tamás Sterbenz, HUSS Rector and Professor Gábor Géczi, Director of the Institute of Economics and Social Sciences, Head of the Department of Sport Management.
