# Erasmus (EN)

The Erasmus+ funded European project Meter Matters has been running for almost two years. The final event of the programme, which included a round-table discussion with Hungarian Olympic champions, was held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), one of the partner institutions of the programme.

The Erasmus+ students have successfully arrived and started the spring semester at our university, facing an exciting period ahead.

The implementation of the Erasmus+ funded European project Meter Matters has set its next stage for the participants of the partnership. In order to gather indicators for the development of possible co-financing schemes, a focus group interview was conducted, this time with the participation of sports federation leaders.

Dr Klaudia Zuskova, Associate Professor at the Pavol Jozef Safarik University based in Kosice visited the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) as part of the Erasmus+ KA131 programme.

On the morning of 4 September, the university hall was packed not only with curious first-year Hungarian students, but also with 40 international students who will take part in the Sport Coaching course within the framework of Erasmus +.

Erik Szabó, graduate student at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) studied and worked abroad as a sports science researcher.

On the 10th of October, the first Intercultural Hungarian dinner was held at the restaurant of the Hungarian University of Sports Science thanks to the International Relations Center. The purpose of the event was to promote the integration of incoming students arriving in the year 2022/23 as well as to familiarize them with the Hungarian culture and traditions. 

After a two-year break, the National Forum for International Coordinators of the Tempus Public Foundation was hosted by the University of Pécs between June 29- July 1, 2022

On the 1 June, 2022, Tempus Public Foundation hosted a conference entitled “Erasmus+ Opens Doors”.
