On the morning of 4 September, the university hall was packed not only with curious first-year Hungarian students, but also with 40 international students who will take part in the Sport Coaching course within the framework of Erasmus +.
The Department of International Relations organised an orientation day to welcome the international freshmen.
During the morning, the students had the opportunity to listen to an introductory lecture with a presentation in which not only the university but also the Hungarian culture was presented in detail, and a lot of important information was also given.
After a short campus tour, the students got to know each other, which was made more exciting with fun games to make friends.
The orientation programmes concluded with an enjoyable sightseeing tour. Györgyi Koppa from the Department of International Relations showed the students around Budapest's most characteristic historical and cultural sites: Heroes' Square, the Parliament building, the Danube bank and St. Stephen's Basilica.
As a result of the orientation programmes, students are eager to start the new academic year.
