  • EUC Volleyball coming to Budapest in 2025

    The city of Budapest, the Hungarian University of Sports Science and its sports club TFSE will host the European Universities Volleyball Championship in 2025. The event will take place from 27 July to 3 August.

The Local Organisation Committee of the EASM2025 conference to be held at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) in Budapest next September has started operations at full speed. The LOC includes several teachers and professionals from the university.

The Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and the European Association of Sport Management (EASM) are preparing for a big joint event in the centenary year of our university.

Representatives of the Hungarian University of Sports Science participated in the First Székely Sports Conference (sicSPORT) in Miercurea Ciuc/ Csíkszereda, Transylvania (Romania) held on 18 and 19 May, 2023.

A delegation consisting of four Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS) members visited France capital, Paris on 7-9 December, where they held talks with the ILEPS University of Sports Sciences and other local organisations on a range of cooperation activities.

The 5th edition of the Sport and Innovation Conference will be held between 14 and 16 September and it will be hosted by the Hungarian University of Sports Science in Budapest and the National Handball Academy in Balatonboglár. On the first day of the event, a workshop entitled Governance, Financing will be held in Section IV, where Prof Dr Gábor Géczi, Director of the Institute of Economics and Social Sciences of the university, Head of the Department of Sport Management will act as the moderator.

Mr. Richard Way, CEO ​and founder ​of LTAD, the Canadian long term development program for sportsmen has visited Budapest and met two representatives of the University of Physical Education, Dr. Gábor Géczi, department head and Dr Judit Kadar, head of the international center.

On behalf of the University of Physical Education, Dr. Judit Kádár and Andrea Rédli from the International Relations Center, and Dr. Gábor Géczi, Head of Sport Management Department, spent one week within the framework of Staff Mobility Program in Canada.
