Mr. Richard Way, CEO and founder of LTAD, the Canadian long term development program for sportsmen has visited Budapest and met two representatives of the University of Physical Education, Dr. Gábor Géczi, department head and Dr Judit Kadar, head of the international center.
The talks included areas of sports education, exchange and international relations, where Canadian sports expers and those of our university may collaborate. Richard Way has offered his support for expanding the UPE global sports and academic network, with special regards to prospective Canadian partner institutions. As another relevant outcome of the talks, Mr. Way and Dr. Géczi have discussed the possibility of co-organizing a future LTAD EUROPA Conference with a Hungarian venue.
