HUSS’s international student Mu I-Jung receives Stipendium Hungaricum Excellence Award

Mu I-Jung, a third-year Sports Coaching student at Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), received Stipendium Hungaricum Excellence Award given by Tempus Public Foundation.

The first ever Stipendium Hungaricum Excellence Award Gala was held — a brand-new celebration dedicated entirely to honouring the remarkable achievements, excellence, and international spirit of scholarship holders studying in Hungary.

The award ceremony was held at the stunning Festetics Palace in Budapest.

We're especially proud that this inspiring community includes HUSS student, Mu I-Jung, a third-year Sports Coaching bachelor student, who was among this year’s awardees. And it’s no surprise why.

Mu has spent years in Hungary building bridges through sport, creating meaningful connections both within the fencing community and across cultures. With plans to pursue a PhD, Mu's journey is only just beginning.
