Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (men) and Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) (women) were crowned as champions at the European Universities Volleyball Championship held in Budapest. The event concluded on Sunday with nearly full-house finals and a closing ceremony.

The level of play on day 6 was just as high as on the previous ones, while key match-ups—including the final and the bronze medal match—were decided. The host institution, Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF), made history with its women's team by fighting their way into the European Championship final.

Thursday was a well-deserved rest for most teams at the European Universities European Championship, but due to the tournament schedule, six matches were still played. While some took the opportunity to explore the beauty of Budapest, others had to take to the court.
