This year again, TF students, professors, researchers, staff and all sports enthusiasts are invited to TF Games, which will take place on 9 May 2025.
This year's event is special as it will be held as part of the TF100 programme series. TF Games will not only be about playing sports, but also about healthy living, bringing the TF community together and providing unforgettable experiences for all participants.
The organisers of TF Games are none other than the third-year full-time Sports Manager students who, following the tradition of the university, have been assigned this task as part of the Sports Event Organisation course.
"We are delighted to have the honour of organising TF Games sports event on this round anniversary. We were particularly pleased to be able to use the knowledge and experience we have gained in less than three years and the many internships we have had, to show the TF community what we are capable of. The organisation of TF Games started in the first week, the working groups were formed and the planning started, and the dreams are growing. Our goal is to make this day unforgettable for everyone and to break the record number of participants," summarised by the graduating sports manager students.
Students know that they will face many challenges, great responsibility, many experiences and unforgettable memories. In their work, they can count on TFSE, the Student Union Office, the Sports Office, the Communications and Events Management Directorate and the Volunteer and Sustainability Office among their partners, and hope to find more and more supporters and sponsors.
On behalf of TFSE, Máté Nagy highlighted the following:
"TF Days is an event intertwined with the traditions of the university and is practically a celebration of the TF community. Besides the evening entertainment, the daytime activities are also emphasized. One of the best forms of community-building is physical activity, which will be highlighted throughout the week as the university hosts MEFOB Festival from 5 to 8 May and TF Games, a reimagined sports day for university citizens, starts the following day. We hope that the event, which is part of the centenary programme, will attract more visitors than ever before, with all the help of TFSE and the Sports Office."
The students believe that with TF Games Sports Day, they will be able to reach the entire university community, including international students, and create a programme that is unique and an unforgettable experience for everyone!
"Organising TF Games gives students an irreplaceable hands-on experience. They can use their creativity, experience the responsibility, effectiveness and challenges of teamwork, reach out to the entire university community, give and receive experiences”, said Dr Szilvia Perényi, lecturer of the sports event organisation course.
The students' aim is to bring together the TF community in an active and vibrant day and to make the programmes a pleasure not only for students but also for faculty, researchers and staff. The organisers welcome sports enthusiasts, sports lovers and enthusiastic fans.
Further details of the event will be available soon and will be posted on TF Games and the University's social media pages. Your questions about the event are welcome at
