Five Hungarian experts were selected to the committees of the United World Wrestling (UWW), including two wrestlers who graduated from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF): Olympic champion Tamás Lőrinc and two-time World champion Péter Bácsi.

Five-time Olympic champion wrestler Mijaín López Núnez, who retired at the Paris Olympics, is taking part in a one-week program series in Hungary.

Two students of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF), Bernadette Nagy and Levente Józsa will compete in wrestling and taekwondo, respectively, at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. 

Dr Tibor Barna, retired Associate Professor of the Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS) presented the results of a research lasting for two years in Belgrade this September.

Using his knowledge and experience gained in the United States, Gábor Farkas, assistant professor at the Department of Combat Sports at the Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS), is trying to raise the level of freestyle wrestling education to an even higher level.
