The international scientific symposium entitled "Biomechanics in Sport and Ageing" was held on Wednesday at the Hungarian University of Sports Science with the participation of almost 160 members, including several foreign students.

The Department of Kinesiology of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) is organising an international biomechanics symposium entitled “Biomechanics in Sports and Ageing” on 11th October 2023.

Registration is now open for the upcoming international scientific conference of kinesiologists that will take place from 28 June to 1 July, 2023 in the picturesque Croatian coastal town of Zadar.

Professor Tibor Hortobágyi, research professor at the Department of Kinesiology at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), has been acting as editor-in-chief of the international journal Biomechanics since 1 January, 2023. The renowned Hungarian research professor, who succeeds Dr Justin Keogh, is also the founding editor-in-chief of the Neuromechanics section.

We are happy to inform you about new dates regarding 9th International Scientific Conference on Kinesiology. Conference is going to be held from 15th till 19th of September 2021 in hotel Ambasador, Opatija, Croatia. We believe that the situation regarding the Coronavirus pandemic will be fully under control by the end of this year and that we will be able to have usual conference program. Tentative sections, workshops and conference program stays the same as announced for 2020.

A new partnership between The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and the University of Physical Education (UPE) in Budapest, Hungary, will create global opportunities for their students and faculty members who wish to expand their knowledge and research of coaching, sports science and physical education through real-life experiences.
