President of National Taiwan Sport University visits HUSS

One of Hungarian University of Sports Science's (HUSS) key strategic partners, the President (Rector) of National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU), Professor Ping-Kun Chiu, visited HUSS, where he met with HUSS Rector Professor Tamás Sterbenz and Vice President for Scientific Affairs Professor Zsolt Radák, to agree on the launch of a double-degree programme.

The partnership between Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and National Taiwan Sport University has a long history. The two institutions signed their first cooperation agreement in 2012, focusing primarily on joint educational programmes.

As part of their ongoing collaboration, Professor Ping-Kun Chiu, Professor Tamás Sterbenz, and Professor Zsolt Radák discussed a new agreement under which the HUSS Doctoral School and National Taiwan Sport University will soon sign a double-degree agreement for doctoral studies.

The meeting also covered the mutual recognition of academic credits and the practical arrangements for signing the agreement. The official signing ceremony will take place online at a later date.

HUSS also invited faculty members from National Taiwan Sport University to participate in its International Education Week, which will be held from 12 to 16 October.

At the end of his visit, Professor Ping-Kun Chiu toured the campus and the Dr. Koltai Jenő Sports Centre.
