Invitation to the Honoris Causa Lecture and Diploma Conferral Ceremony of Dr. Steve Horvath

The Senate of the Hungarian University of Sport Sciences (HUSS) cordially invites you to the Honoris Causa Lecture and Diploma Conferral Ceremony of Dr. Steve Horvath to be held on Friday, 21 November 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

According to the University’s Doctoral Regulations, the Senate may confer the honorary title Doctor Honoris Causa upon individuals who, through their outstanding theoretical and practical achievements and significant scientific contributions, have become worthy of such recognition, and who are not employed by the University.

On 22 May 2025, the Senate awarded Dr. Steve Horvath the honorary title of Doctor Honoris Causa.

The diploma will be presented during the Doctoral Conferment and Honoris Causa Ceremony beginning at 10:00 a.m.
