The International Fencing Coaching Course concluded with master examination at the Hungarian University of Sports Science.
The FIE (Federation Internationale d’Escrime / International Fencing Federation) international coaching course Epée Master exam was held where prestigious fencing legends like Gábor Bognár (retired associate professor), Béla Kopetka Master Coach and Zsolt Nemcsik assistant professor of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), besides Mr Ezequiel Abello Navas, FIE Sport Department operations manager were invited to attend and mark the master-to-be candidates from Sweden, Holland, Australia and New Zealand.
This program is run three times a year due to the three weapons in fencing, where FIE selects each participant with recommendation of his/her respected NOC and NF. Every time, for this occassion the program coordinator of HUSS (Andras Szabo, International Relations Directorate) as operation center for FIE is also invited to attend the full-day program.
Mr Ezequiel Navas (FIE) alongside with the Fencing Masters thanked the HUSS professors for their contributions for years in FIE program, also emphasised the necessity of theory subjects and the level of their work: Prof Zsolt Radák (Training Theory and Metodics), Ágnes Csordás-Makszin (Sport Pedagogy), Dr Leila Seres (Sport Physiology), Dr Noemi Gyömber (Sport Psychology) and Adam Hegedűs (Biomechanics).
