Join the World Aquatics Swimming Championships 2024 volunteer team - the date is 10-15 December 2024, and the venue is Budapest, Duna Arena. Help the world's best swimmers compete, be part of the magic atmosphere of an international sporting event!

Two students from the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF), Katinka Komjáthy and Blanka Székely, won the seventh place in the pom doubles category at the World University Cheerleading Championships held in Split recently.

Four students of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) were also members of the Hungarian junior (U20) women's handball team that finished second at the IHF World Championships.

Two students of the Hungarian University of Sports Science, Eszter Szabó-Feltóthy and Mira Szimcsák made a memorable performance at the 2024 Quatar World Aquatics Championships that took place between 2 and 18 February.

Luca Ekler did well at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Jesolo this weekend. The athlete from TFSE won three gold medals in three events and will compete at the World Championships in Paris this summer.

Pál Merkovszki, a student at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), acted as the goalkeeper for the US national team at the World Handball Championship where he played an active role in making history.

The Men's Handball World Championship is currently held in Poland and Sweden between 11 and 29 January, and it's not just the Hungarian national team that will be in action. Pál Merkovszki, a student at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), who starts his last semester at the university at the Sports and Recreation Management Department, will be part of the US team.

Unlike many Hungarian first league championships in team sports, the ones organized by the Hungarian University Sports Federation (HUSF) have so far been unaffected by the coronavirus pandemic. There is a glimmer of hope that the domestic university sports scene will be the one and only to remain untouched by Covid-19.
