Four students of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) were also members of the Hungarian junior (U20) women's handball team that finished second at the IHF World Championships.
The 24th IHF Women's Junior (U20) World Handball Championships was staged in Skopje, North Macedonia from 19 to 30 June 2024.
Hungary also took part in the tournament, and played brilliantly all the way through. The only defeat Hungary had to suffer was against France in the final.
Even more great news is that the silver team included four TF students: goalkeeper Klára Zaj (BA coaching course), right winger Léna Gém (BA coaching course), pivot Lili Szabó (BA coaching course) and pivot Petra Gajdos (BSc sports management course).
Léna Gém and Lili Szabó scored twice in the final against France.
Congratulations!
