Rector of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF), Professor Tamás Sterbenz paid a visit to Shanghai where he met representatives of Fudan University and Shanghai Sports University to clarify the final details of future cooperation with the latter one.
Among others, Professor Tamás Sterbenz, Rector of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF), who visited China during a trip organised by the Hungarian Rectors' Conference, held talks with the President of the Shanghai Sports University, President Mao.
The purpose of this meeting was to clarify the final details of the cooperation between the two universities. The TF delegation visited Shanghai Sports University this spring and the Chinese side will return in November, during which the two institutions will sign a cooperation agreement.
"This autumn, we will certainly sign one of the most important international cooperation agreements in the history of TF with the Shanghai Sports University. It was an exceptional experience to see how things work there", said the Rector. "The Chinese university has a very remarkable international table tennis academy and sports science background, and future cooperation has a lot of potential."
During his trip to China, the Rector also visited Hanze University, which excels in science and especially mathematics, and gave a lecture at Fudan University, whose leaders are also open to future cooperation.
The Rector was accompanied by Grace Zhang Qingyuan, who graduated at TF this year, and she will start her studies at the Doctoral School this autumn.
