Rector Tamás Sterbenz and Vice-Rector General Csaba Ökrös in Cologne

Representing the management of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF), Rector Professor Tamás Sterbenz and Vice-Rector for General Affairs Dr Csaba Ökrös, visited the Deutsche Sporthochschule in Cologne, Germany.

The purpose of the visit was to welcome the newly appointed Rector of the Deutsche Sporthochschule, Professor Ansgar Thiel, and to expand the traditionally good relationship between the two universities.

The leaders confirmed that the cooperation that exists for decades, in addition to student and faculty staff mobility, offers wide opportunities for joint research and publications.

Professor Thiel and International Director Dr Gerard King were delighted to be invited to the 7th Sport and Innovation Conference due to take place in Budapest in the autumn, and we look forward to welcoming them in person at TF in October.
