HUSS’s Department of Combat Sports receives guest from the partner university in Bratislava

Representatives of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) discussed the possibilities of research cooperation with Dusana Augustovicova from the Comenius University in Bratislava.

In the third week of March, the Department of Combat Sports of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) hosted Dr Dusana Augustovicova, associate professor at Comenius University in Bratislava, Head of the World Karate Federation’s Parakarate Committee. Dusana came to our university as part of Erasmus teaching mobility.

During her visit, she provided undergraduate students of coach, teacher and sports management training with knowledge about parakarate and sports activities for people with disabilities, according to their specialisation. On 21 March, when World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated, she took part in a joint training session with TFSE athletes with Down syndrome.

A negotiation about the possibility of research cooperation was held between Dusana Augustovicova and Dr Endre Németh, Head of the Department of Combat Sports at the International Relations Center’s office.
