HUSS representative pays visit to partner Institution in Turkey through Pannonia Scholarship Programme

As part of the Pannonia Scholarship Programme, Dr Yvette Budainé Csepela from the Department of Pedagogy at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) visited HUSS’s new the Faculty of Sport Sciences at Marmara University in Istanbul, a new partner institution.

The Pannonia Scholarship Programme is becoming increasingly popular not only on a national level but also at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). More and more students and staff members from HUSS are travelling abroad to gain international experience, which reflects the university’s strong performance in terms of overall mobility.

Dr Yvette Budainé Csepela spent a few enriching days at TF's new partner institution, Marmara University in Istanbul recently, specifically at the Faculty of Sport Sciences. She was welcomed by Professor Fatih Dervent, Head of the department. During the visit, representatives of the two universities introduced their respective institutions, including their education systems, and discussed potential areas of collaboration in both education and research.

Professor Dervent also gave a detailed tour of the Turkish university’s educational facilities. Dr Budainé Csepela actively participated in both theoretical and practical classes. During the visit, the parties also had the opportunity to explore historical landmarks located near the university.

As part of the extended visit program, Dr Budainé Csepela also visited a newly built primary school, where she observed physical education classes and learned about the school’s educational program.
