The Chinese delegation included Mao Lijuan, President of the Shanghai Univeristy of Sport, Lu Wenyun, Head of Strategic Planning, Lu Qichen, Head of Human Resources, Dean Yin Qin from the School of Physical Education, and Zhang Zhe, Interim Head of International Affairs.
The agreement covers, among other things, the exchange of staff and students between the two institutions, participation in joint research projects, joint curriculum development and cultural exchange.
During the meeting, President Mao Lijuan remarked that although Hungary is a small country, its sports performance is admirable. In response, Tamás Sterbenz said that he was impressed by the Shanghai Univeristy of Sport's table tennis academy which they would also like to implement in Hungary in fencing or judo. Mao Lijuan added that they would be happy to help in the localization of the artificial intelligence-based sports performance and data analysis system in Hungary.
