Tamás Csányi elected member of the Executive Board of the European Physical Education Association’s (EUPEA) governing body

Dr Tamás Csányi, Head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) has been awarded another prestigious position and task in the European umbrella organisation of physical education teachers.

The 35th EUPEA Forum was held in Belgrade, Serbia between 7 and 10 November organised by the Faculty of Sport Belgrade. The main focus of the event was on the teaching and functioning of physical education.

Dr Tamás Csányi, Head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Education representing the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) was invited to participate in the work of EUPEA ‘s Executive Board, so the main tasks of the French, Luxembourg, Irish, English, North Macedonian, Portuguese, Swedish and now Hungarian representatives are to implement the strategic planning tasks of the association, to represent the interests of physical education and student sport as well as those of the member higher education institutions and student sport associations.

The event was opened by the Serbian Minister of Sport, Zoran Gajic, and the invitation was presented by the President of the Federation, Avelino Azevedo, President of the EUPEA and the Portuguese Physical Education Teachers Association.
