Hungary finished 4th in the Senior All Girl Elite category at the ICU European Cheerleading Championships held recently in Oslofjord, Norway. The team also included Szilvia Pék, a student of the acrobatic gymnastics coaching course of our university as well as Petra Hallai, member of the teacher training course.
The ICU European Cheerleading Championships was held in Norway between 28 and 30 June.
There were competitions held in several categories over the three days. In the Senior All Girl Elite category, the Hungarian team consisting of 24 athletes just missed out on the podium by only 1.5 points to the Greeks, thus finishing fourth. The gold medal went to Switzerland.
Szilvia Pék, a student of the acrobatic gymnastics coaching course and Petra Hallai, member of the teacher training course at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) were also members of the Hungarian team.
