HUSS researchers to hold lecture at the 2024 American Physiology Summit

At the 2024 American Physiology Summit to be organised in Long Beach in April, researchers from the Hungarian University of Sports Science will present topics closely related to elite sport.

The Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) has achieved a huge achievement and recognition. Ákos Koller, professor emeritus at HUSS informed us that the American Physiological Society accepted four HUSS-related abstracts for the 2024 American Physiology Summit to be held in Long Beach, USA, from 4 to 7 April.

Research leader Ákos Koller is an author in all four papers along with Johanna Takács and Tamás Horváth, who are both lecturers at HUSS and Szonja Decker, a young student at Semmelweis University All of these topics are closely related to elite sports and elite athletes, as they investigated how the cardiorespiratory (blood circulation and respiration) system adapts to extreme conditions.
