Dr Tamás Csányi, Head of the Department of Physical Education Theory and Methodology at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) has been re-elected board member of the European Physical Education Association (EPEA) in Frankfurt on 18 November.
EPEA is an umbrella organisation of the associations of physical education teachers in the European region, and it represents issues of physical education and student sport at the highest level.
The Luxembourg-based association held its General Assembly at the Centre for Sports of the Goethe University in Frankfurt on 18 November. At the event, Dr Tamás Csányi was re-elected board member of EPEA including 34 member organisations for another four years unanimously. Dr Tamás Csányi thus is going to run his third term as board member.
As part of his job, he will contribute to the implementation of the strategic planning tasks of the association and represents the interests of the member institutions of higher education and student sports associations (including Hungarian ones).
New board members include representatives from Hungary, Sweden, Belgium, Italy, North Macedonia, Greece, France, the Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Serbia, Portugal and Luxembourg. Congratulations and best wishes for a successful next term!
