Dr habil Miklós Bánhidi holds a lecture in Malaysia

Associate Professor of the Department of Recreation at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), Dr Miklós Bánhidi promoted the courses of the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) in an international conference in Malaysia.

On 25 September, Dr habil Miklós Bánhidi, Associate Professor of the Department of Recreation at the Hungarian University of Sports Science gave a lecture in Malaysia at the conference titled “International Physical Education and Sports Colloquium.”

In his presentation, he outlined, among other things, the current situation in Hungary in public education, lifestyle change as well as the development efforts made in the HUSS training programmes.

The audience was particularly impressed by the health-oriented education programmes, the rise of recreational sports in the national curriculum, the objectives and results of campaigns for the general public, and the importance of daily physical education.

Dr Miklós Bánhidi also stressed the expansion of the range of training courses at HUSS, which, in addition to the development of coach and teacher training, will give a special role to the training of recreational professionals, thus contributing to a healthier and more active lifestyle for the population.
