Hungarian athletes can now compete at the National Athletics Centre that will host the national championships on 7 and 8 July. More than 300 volunteers trained by HUSS will do their best to make the test event a success.
The finishing touches are being put to the National Athletics Centre and its surroundings, so that the best Hungarian athletes can compete on 7 and July, Friday and Saturday. The 128th national athletics championships is a “dress rehearsal” for the Budapest 2023 IAAF World Athletics Championships to be held in August, not only for the athletes and the organisers, but also for the volunteers coordinated by the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS). The more than 300 volunteers will now have the chance to put their skills to the test in real life.
As known, the Hungarian University of Sports Science has undertaken the training of volunteer coordinators of the Budapest 2023 IAAF World Athletics Championships, the university's Csörsz Street facility will be one of the training venues for the World Championships during the event. The university will host a one-day professional conference with the world's most prominent sports scientists and last but not least professional coaches from the world of athletics are to gather around for the Coaches' Club's daily events at the university campus.
