Participants speak highly of joint HUSS and BU webinar

The Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and the University of Bern launched this year's free webinar series on Tuesday, 23 May. The event was rated very well by the participants.

Last Tuesday, the webinar series organised by the International Relations Center in collaboration with the University of Bern closed. The event has been organised successfully for the fourth time. On behalf of the Hungarian University of Sports Science Dr. Judit Kádár, from the University of Bern Porf. Dr. Claudio Nigg were moderating the complet sequence of events.

This year's theme was the "Worksite Wellness for Universities" Due to the speciality of the topic, our Serbian partner, the Union Nikola Tesla University, Faculty of Sports, had also provided one speakers.

The first part of the online series focussed on physical activity and mental health at work. Participants “arrived” from a total of twelve countries including Hungary, Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, the Philippines, Nigeria, Poland, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Italy and Spain.

The organisers asked participants to evaluate the webinar. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest, this was the rating given by respondents:

How interesting was the seminar: 4.65
How inspiring was the seminar: 4.5

The presenters were also rated on a scale of 1 to 5, with "not at all" being the worst and "absolutely" the best. The speakers received almost the best rating ("mostly") on the dimensions entertaining/interesting and inspiring.

Regarding the question " Overall, were you satisfied with the webinar quality and were you able to hear the presentation clearly?”, all respondents answered yes. Other comments included "This is one of the best I have ever attend", "I'm satisfied on how they present these topics they give clear information" or "Perfectly well organised, thank you!"

In addition, participants said that the webinar was quite thought-provoking, it was good to see the four speakers coming from four different countries (“Enjoyed the multicultural spirit”), the event was well organised, and they are looking forward to the next one in the autumn.

The webinar featured four speakers: Dr Miklós Bánhidi, lecturer at the Department of Recreation, representing the Hungarian University of Sports Science, Professor Claudio R. Nigg from the University of Bern, Dr Ivana Zubics from Tesla University in Belgrade and Professor Catherine Woods from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
