Dr habil Miklós Bánhidi, supervisor of the School of Sport Sciences at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) and his student Leny Keo recently paid a scientific visit to Cambodia.
They travelled to the Far Eastern country to collect data on the natural, socio-economic and infrastructural characteristics of Cambodia's sports tourism industry and its potential for product development.
During the project, they were able to analyse the constantly developing tourism sector achievements, they interviewed local tourism service providers and gained a brief insight into the Southeast Asian Games events taking place during their visit.
In order to expand the research, they have managed to build a relationship with the Build Bright University in Siem Reap, which will also be a future technical partner of the TF. The field research experience is currently being processed.
