Rector’s delegation from the HUSS visits Matej Bel University

On October 12, 2022, the Hungarian University of Sports Science’s (HUSS) Rector Professor Dr Tamás Sterbenz, International Relations Director Dr habil Judit Kádár and Rector’s Advisor Kálmán Figler visited Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (UMB).

The HUSS delegation was received by Dr Katarína Chovancová, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Dr Peter Kristofik, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Professor Dr Peter Terem, Vice-Rector for Science and Research.

The purpose of the trip was to return the visit of the UMB delegation paid on August 15, 2022, and strengthen the relations between the two universities. As a result of UMB’s visit to HUSS in August, the two universities signed an inter-institutional agreement in September, 2022.

During the current visit, the two parties signed a letter of intent, within the framework of which the universities seek to establish joint training programs. Parties hope that this meeting will bring further fruitful and long-term cooperation.
