The fifth edition of the Sport and Innovation Conference will take place from 14 to 16 September. The three-day event will be hosted by the Hungarian University of Sport Sciences (14 September, Budapest) and the National Handball Academy (15 and 16 September, Balatonboglár). On the first day of the event, Dr László Tóth, Director of the Teacher Training Institute of the university will moderate the workshop entitled Teacher Training in section one.
The sections will primarily focus on new elements of renewed teacher education. In addition to physical education teachers and coaches, participation is recommended for professionals interested in the latest pedagogical methodologies.
"During the section, we will discuss how the new type of practical training, which will run throughout the course, can help the process of becoming a teacher and whether the new method can be applied to coach training. Another important issue is the place and role of differentiation in the PE classroom. We will look at the different ways in which differentiation can be used in the classroom and how this affects the motivation of pupils. We will also look at ways in which talent is expressed, discussing the situation of elite athletes who are exempted from PE lessons and the consequences of this practice. We will also address the question of how to develop and deepen the culture of teaching methodology."
The section will be held on Wednesday 14 September from 1:45 PM until 3:00 PM.
