The Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) will once again host a prestigious event. On August 20, 2025, Hungary’s national holiday, Thomas Bach, former President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will be conferred an honorary doctorate degree. The ceremony will take place in the university’s Athens Hall at 10:30 am.

The Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS) and the Hungarian Olympic Committee (HOC) held a joint sporty commemoration of the World Olympic Day on Thursday 23 June at the university campus.

On 6 May, which is the Day of Hungarian Sport, the Wall of Hungarian Sports Stars was inaugurated at the Hungarian University of Sports Sciences (HUSS) in a ceremony amidst huge media interest.
