Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) will hold its Health Day combined with a blood donation event on April 23, 2026. The primary goal of the event is to encourage a more conscious, health-oriented mindset among the institution’s students, staff, and even local district residents.
Within the framework of the Healthy Campus program, Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) will once again host its traditional Health Day focusing on a healthy lifestyle, where, among others, voluntary blood donors are also welcome. The event is open not only to members of the university community but also to the general public.
The half-day event will take place on April 23 in Building K1. However, on Day 0 (April 22), the university library will already host an engaging lecture. On April 23, the day begins at 9:00 a.m. with a mobility exercise session in the lobby. From 10:00 a.m., participants can take part in various health screenings, including bone density, cholesterol, uric acid, blood glucose level, and Omron body composition measurements, as well as physiotherapy consultations. Programs promoting mental health will also be available.
The event will be further enlivened by skill-based activities organized by different departments of TFSE, both indoors in the lobby and outdoors. Blood donors will be welcomed in the student space opening from the lobby. Prizes will also be raffled among participants.
In the Athens hall, visitors can attend three lectures on abdominal wall regeneration, mental health, and gynecological topics.
In Room B101 (Melbourne seminar room), dermatological screenings will be available, while in Room B103 (Mexico City seminar room), registered participants can attend dental screenings.
