Tamás Sterbenz, Rector of Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), received H.E. Mr. Majed Abdulaziz M. Al Abdan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Budapest, on 27 January 2026, in the presence of Denissza Blanár, the university’s Director of International Relations.
Rector Tamás Sterbenz informed the Ambassador about the university’s main programmes in the field of sport sciences, its academic departments, and its role in the education and training of students and professionals interested in sport and related disciplines.

Majed Abdulaziz M. Al Abdan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Budapest, for his part expressed his admiration for the outstanding achievements and successes of Hungarian sport.
He also conveyed his deep appreciation for the role of the Hungarian University of Sports Science in Hungarian sport, which is regarded as Hungary’s leading institution for physical education and sport education. In addition, the two parties discussed the possibilities and areas of cooperation between the University and the competent institutions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
