Denissza Blanár, Director of the International Relations Centre (IRC), represented Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) at One of Europe's Leading Higher Education Conferences, the annual European Association for International Education (AIE) conference.
In September, the annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) — one of the most important forums for international cooperation in higher education — was held in Gothenburg, Sweden. Universities, colleges, educational organizations, and experts came together to share experiences, expand their professional networks, and establish new partnerships.
Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) also participated at the joint national “Study in Hungary” stand, coordinated by the Tempus Public Foundation, alongside several other Hungarian higher education institutions.
Prior to the event, HUSS scheduled more than thirty B2B meetings, with a special focus on countries and institutions where sport science and physical education play a prominent role.
During the discussions, HUSS engaged with several world-leading universities, including Deakin University (Australia) and the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, ranked first and second respectively on the Shanghai Global Ranking of Sport Science Schools and Departments.

IRC Director Denissza Blanár also met with delegates from the University of Stirling and Nottingham Trent University — the latter is scheduled to visit HUSS in October.
Discussions were also held with several other prestigious European higher education institutions, laying the groundwork for future joint projects and student mobility programmes.
The conference and the related professional meetings significantly contribute to strengthening HUSS’s international presence and enhancing its visibility in the field of sports science education and research.
