HUSS helps victims of the Turkey earthquake

The income from the university’s Prize Draw organised recently will be used to help victims of the Turkey earthquake.

On 3 March, 2023, more than 100 of the staff working at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS) had fun together at the spring retro party called "Together Again!" organised by the Social Relations Office (SRO) at the Water Sports and Recreation Centre location at Lake Velence.

The income of the raffle draw will be used to support the fundraising campaign launched by the Turkish Embassy to alleviate the losses of the victims of the February earthquake.

With additional support from the Foundation for the University of Physical Education, the SRO staff purchased and delivered a total of 55 warm blankets to the Turkish Embassy.

Health Manager Dr Nas Kamil has expressed his sincere thanks to Dr Andrea Gál, Head of the Social Relations Office, and assured that he and his compatriots will always be grateful for the compassion of the university staff.
